Job Description:
A company is looking for a Payer Credentialing Specialist -
Physician Services - System Wide.
Key Responsibilities
Enroll providers with managed care plans and maintain CAQH
applications
Compile and audit credentialing information, updating databases and
managing application processes
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and regulatory standards
throughout the credentialing process
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High School Diploma required; Associate Degree preferred in a
related field
3 years of experience in medical staff services or payer
enrollment
Certification as CPMSM or CPCS required or must be pursued within 4
years of hire
Knowledge of insurance regulations and managed care contracts
Experience with database management and word processing
