Job Description:
A company is looking for a Coordinator, P2P Appeals to assist in
managing peer-to-peer appeals processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule and manage peer-to-peer calls with medical directors and
payers
Document information from payer calls in the proprietary system and
update account statuses in multiple databases
Support various departmental functions including case entry and
appeals support
Required Qualifications and Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree
preferred
Preferred experience in a call center environment
Understanding of denials processes for Medicare, Medicaid, and
Commercial/Managed Care is a plus
Prior experience accessing hospital EMRs and Payer Portals
preferred
Proficient in MS Word and Excel, with the ability to perform basic
functions in Excel
