Software Functional Safety Specialist

Job Description:

A company is looking for a Software Functional Safety Assurance Specialist (ISO-26262) - Member of Technical Staff.

Key Responsibilities

Create and maintain safety and quality plans compliant with ISO-26262 and other standards
Train and mentor software engineering teams on safety lifecycle activities
Perform software safety analysis and coordinate related activities across teams

Required Qualifications and Education

BSc degree in an analytical or technical discipline
8+ years of experience in developing safety-critical software
Specialist knowledge of safety analysis methods (e.g., FTA, FMEA, STPA)
Experience with safety qualification of software tools and code libraries
Familiarity with embedded RTOS such as VxWorks or similar
