Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Telemetry Job Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (06:45 - 19:15) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Open to less than 2 years of experience; first-time travelers accepted License: Compact or LA license required Certifications: RN Licensure, NIH, AHA certifications required, CPI for nurses (or must obtain before start) Must-Have: COVID-19 Vaccine and Flu Vaccine (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only) Job Description: - Seeking a skilled nurse for a fast-paced acute care telemetry/stroke certified unit. - May float to Med/Surg Stepdown, a sister unit. - Required to work every other weekend. - Inpatient unit receives support from Patient Care Technicians, 24/7 secretaries, virtual nurses, and a medication administration pharmacist. - Orientation held five days a week, consisting of 8 hours. - Must have 2 years of experience in specialty for all locations. - References from 2 Manager/Supervisor contacts are required to obtain clearance to start the contract. - Staff or in-house agency contractors must be separated from previous health system employment for 1 full year before returning as travel nurses. - Must reside over 65 miles from the job location. - Remote Travel Operations must be listed on the profile and discussed in an interview to avoid offer rescission.
