spam folder.JOB FUNCTION / SUMMARY:In partnership with the CHRO and
Senior Executive Leadership team, the Director, Total Rewards will
be responsible for refining, leading and driving the execution of
Total Rewards initiatives that support the growing needs of Hancock
Whitney Corporation. He/She will ensure that the company's
compensation and benefits processes, plans, programs and tools (and
the data and information that supports them) are competitive, cost
effective and, most importantly, support Hancock Whitney's business
strategy, enhance organizational capability and foster associate
engagement.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the strategic review, design, implementation, and
communication of Hancock Whitney's compensation and benefits
philosophy and programs.
- Partner closely with senior management, the Compensation
Committee of the Board, and appropriate consultants.
- Work with the external compensation consultant to design and
implement Board of Director and Executive Compensation
programs.
- Lead and manage equity design, administration and
compliance.
- Provide leadership and interface with public compliance and
oversight organizations.
- Partner with Legal, Finance and the external Compensation
Consultant to prepare the Company's annual proxy.
- Provide ongoing guidance to senior management and the Board on
compensation and benefits trends.
- Introduce and rebuild processes and systems to support a
growing public company.
- Be the primary interface with Finance and Legal to synchronize
compensation processes.
- Direct the development of communication plans related to
associate plans.
- Work closely with IT & HR Leadership Team to champion HR
systems strategy.
- Assist with due diligence and integration of mergers and
acquisitions.
- Ensure that the total rewards team is business-oriented and
responsive.
- Routinely assess the internal equity and external
competitiveness of compensation.
- Conduct ad-hoc studies, analyses and evaluations to meet
specific business needs.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:Carries out
supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's
policies and procedures; Provides guidance and oversight to the
assigned team. Responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring
and training associates; planning, assigning and directing work;
performance management; associate compensation; approving expense
reports; addressing concerns and resolving problems.MINIMUM
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration,
Finance, or a related field; an MBA or Master's degree is often
preferred.
- Professional certification, such as Certified Compensation
Professional (CCP), Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS),
or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), is highly
desirable.
- 12 years of experience in total rewards, compensation, and
benefits, ideally within the financial services industry.
- Strong experience in executive compensation, incentive plan
design, and performance-based pay structures.
- Background in regulatory compliance, especially in financial
services regulations related to compensation.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with at least 5 years of
management experience overseeing a team.
- Experience in working with HRIS and analytics tools to drive
data-driven compensation and benefits decisions.
- Familiarity with multi-state benefits administration.ESSENTIAL

- Ability to operate related equipment to perform the essential

- Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 10 pounds if required
