Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to design,
develop, and maintain data platforms supporting various data
needs.
Key Responsibilities
Build and manage scalable data ingestion pipelines for analytics
and predictive modeling
Develop and maintain cloud-native big data environments on AWS,
ensuring security and performance
Collaborate with Data Scientists and BI developers to design data
models and implement ETL processes
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology
plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
High proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, PLSQL, and
Python for ETL development
Expertise in AWS services like S3, Glue, Redshift, and Athena for
building data pipelines
Experience with relational databases such as Postgres, Oracle, or
MySQL, including performance tuning
Familiarity with data governance frameworks and data security best
practices
